On the southwestern coast of Madeira Island, where the landscape gently slopes towards the sea, this point forms an interesting boundary. Rocky sections push into the water here, a striking chain that breaks the gentle arrival of the waves and gives the gaze a hold. Behind it, the ocean widens into an infinite expanse, only interrupted by the horizon where sky and sea touch.

From this coastline, the view is clear to the southwest. The vastness of the Atlantic lies open before one, and only the dark boulders in the foreground create a sense of depth that leads the gaze into infinity. The rugged edges of the volcanic stones form a contrast to the soft, expansive blue of the water.
