On the eastern shore of the steppe lake, whose expansive water surface lies flat in the landscape, stands the Podersdorf Lighthouse. It marks the end of a long pier that extends far into Lake Neusiedl.

The wide, reed-fringed shore of the UNESCO World Heritage site characterizes the scenery and creates a special atmosphere. Here on the lakeshore, where the vastness of the sky and water often becomes palpable, the red-and-white striped tower forms a striking landmark.

Access: The lighthouse is located at the end of the pier in the town area of Podersdorf am See and is easily accessible from surrounding paths.
