This viewpoint offers an unparalleled view over the sea of clouds, which often forms below the peaks, with the outlines of La Gomera and El Hierro in the distance. The exposed location at the upper edge of the pine forests of La Orotava allows for a rare perspective on the clouds that accumulate on the northern slopes.

The spot is particularly appealing in the early morning hours, when the sun rises above the eastern horizon and bathes the clouds in warm light before they dissipate. Also at sunset, if the cloud cover is still present, impressive plays of light emerge.
