Here, a path carved into the rock winds along a steep ridge, dropping sharply on both sides. Moss-covered rock walls rise close to the path, leaving only a narrow strip for the view into the distance. One moves high above the surrounding landscape, which stretches out as a deep depression beneath the rock ridge.

Access: The path is part of the Vereda do Areeiro, a hiking trail near São Roque do Faial.
