At the very top of Germany's highest peak, there is a wide, open rock landscape that loses itself all around in a breathtaking panoramic view. The Zugspitze itself is a rocky plateau here, offering space to linger with a gentle incline. Deep below, a sea of mountain peaks and valleys stretches out, blurring in the distance, while the horizon appears free and infinitely wide. Up here, the world below seems like an almost endless expanse, shaped by rugged ridges and sublime peaks.

Access: The summit plateau can be reached via various paths and trails, including the Höllentalsteig.
